Live Canvas Student Orientation Fall 2016

The orientations will review accessing Canvas, finding courses, and using various tools. This orientation is designed for students who are new to distance education classes at Ventura College or who are new to using Canvas.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Students attending the orientation do need a parking permit to park in the parking lot. The closest parking lot to the LRC Studio is the Math/Science parking lot. ( East Parking Lot).

LRC = Library and Learning Resource Center (LRC)

The Orientation is located in the LRC Studio. ( The basement of the LRC buidling.)

Please follow the signs next to the restrooms on the first floor of the LRC

If you are lost ask the BEACH ( Learning Center help desk) for further directions.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You can bring your printed ticket or your ticket copy on your smart phone.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

Please come and bring up to two friends.

Official vcccd.edu email address must be used for event. Any ticket given for a non- vcccd.edu account will be returned.
